The history of Villa S. Gallen

The wooden church of St. Gallen once stood on the site where Villa St. Gallen now stands. This church collapsed in 1733 and was replaced by the present parish church of St. Ladislaus, completed in 1697, which stands on the site of the even older 14th century church of St. Helena.

The name of the house is therefore derived as a tribute to this earlier sacred building on our property, and the names of the apartments Helena and Ladislao are a reference to the other two churches in the village.
